bulletin There actually should never be a need for you to check this board because all posts here will be circulated as forum-wide announcements to make sure they access the members. However if you return from an extended absence it might be a good idea to check if you missed anything big. main st Main Street is the center of action here in Bretterville. Almost all of the important businesses are lined up along this road. It’s usually pretty busy and you’re better off walking than trying to drive down this road especially during rush hour. Take a peek at the stickied post for a brief description of some of the main locations in town. |

city park Weather permitting; this is a nice place to spend time. There’s a gorgeous fountain in the center and a playground for the little kids at the back. There is also a multitude of bike and walking trails, a lake nearby for boating, and a lot of empty space for starting up a random game of flag football should you choose. The park is dog friendly, but keep your pets on a leash please unless you’re using the small fenced in area designated just for our furry friends. Oh, and please pick up after your dog! |

chesfield ave Chesfield doesn’t see as many people as Main Street but it’s got a decent line up of quaint little businesses, a cheap clothing store and relaxing tea shop to name a few. It’s definitely quieter and more peaceful over here. |

residential Bretterville has two main residential areas that house the majority of families that live in town. Others who are just embarking on adulthood or don’t have as much need for space live in apartments above the shops in town. Still others actually live outside of Bretterville but spend most of their time within the city. Wherever it is you live, you live here. |

on the outskirts Well believe me life doesn’t stop at the town boundary. Within a short distance the residents have access to a beach and a large shopping mall as well as several nice restaurants. If you’re looking to get out of town for just a little bit, the drive’s not to bad. |

around the world Taking a vacation? You have no limits here. If you want to go to Europe, Africa, or Asia for a visit then have at it. But remember, plane tickets can get expensive and you probably should come home eventually. |
